About Green Plates
Areca leaf plates are a sustainable alternative to plastic/polymer products which leave a high carbon footprint behind. They can replace paper-based products made out of trees. A 100% natural process is followed for manufacturing these plates. Fallen areca leaves are collected from the farms. Then the sheath of the areca leaves is cleaned and soaked in water for approximately 15 minutes and dried for 30 minutes. They are later compressed to different shapes using a mold based machine. The finished products are aggregated and packed as per The customer requirement.
